Venerable Geshe Thubten Sherab

The Path to Enlightenment requires one to gain an understanding and direct experience of emptiness, and the interdependence of all phenomenon.  The direct experience of emptiness serves to cut at the root cause of all suffering. Geshe Sherab has kindly offered three teaching sessions to help us deepen our appreciation for key teachings on how to cultivate wisdom on the ultimate nature of reality.  This public retreat is free and open to all. Information on how to provide an offering of dhana for the teachings will be provided.

Venerable Geshe Thubten Sherab is a resident teacher at Thubten Norbu Ling Center in Santa Fe New Mexico.  Geshe Sherab completed the studies for his Geshe degree at Sera Je Monastery in Southern India.  Venerable has been teaching and providing service through the Foundation for Preservation of Mahayana Traditions (FPMT) in the United States and around the globe for almost twenty years.

Stupa at Vajrayogini Institue, France

Geshe Sherab requests that his students integrate study and practice together, which has always been the advice of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and of Lama Zopa Rinpoche.
